VINTAGE ROSÉ 2015

Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2015 is the expression of a prodigious harvest, ignoring the climatic conditions. Madame Clicquot broke with tradition and created, in 1810, the very first blended rosé in Champagne, a major invention gradually taken up by many houses. To do this, she replaced the traditional method called "tint" which used an elderberry liqueur to color the wine, by blending white clear wines with red wines from her Bouzy vineyard, thus creating the first so-called "blended" rosé. The predominance of Pinot Noir and the subtle touch of 10% of wines made in oak tuns and prolonged aging on lees give the power and aromatic richness so typical of the Veuve Clicquot Vintage style.
